Q. Why can't I connect?
A.1. Check your TCP/IP settings in your Dial-up Networking. Check your TCP/IP Network settings in your Control Panel;
A.2. Check your modem from the Control Panel if your using the installed modem and its configuration. Try to see if it is also working properly.
Q. Why is it, my computer seems to disconnect a number of times?
A.1. Make sure you unmarked options inside your dialer that disconnects you after a certain time. Disable the idle timer on your Internet icon inside your Control Panel.
A.2. Other reasons for disconnection are poor and noisy phone lines, unstable modem connections and speed inconsistencies. For users who has call-waiting enabled, constant beeping will interrupt the transmission flow and will disconnect you due to large data losses between the two modems.
Q. After dialing for quite some time, a message pop-up saying "The computer you're dialing is not answering", What does it mean?
A.Set the baud rate of your modem settings to the most recommended. Restart your modem, and check for any loose connections of your modem cable and telephone lines.
Q. I've been trying to connect but nothing happens, Why is it?
A. The modem cable, phone line, and power cord should be securely connected, and that your modem is turned on. Check if the phone line is active and should not be sharing with an electronic switching device. Turn off any fax software you have on running. Restart your computer if necessary.
Q. Why can't I log-in?
A.1. You may have typed in the wrong username and/or password
REMEMBER: LOG-IN NAMES (or USER NAME / ACCOUNT NAME) and PASSWORDS are CASE SENSITIVE. Be sure to type them exactly as you have registered them.
